- Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment rules on both administrative reviews and variances. When conducting a hearing for administrative reviews, the Board decides appeals where it is alleged there was an error in any order, requirement, decision, interpretation, or determination made by the Planning and Development Director or Planning Commission, generally in the enforcement of the zoning and sign code. When holding a hearing for a variance, the Board may authorize a variance from the bulk or area regulations of the zoning and sign code when the literal enforcement of those codes would result in unnecessary hardship to a property owner.
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.
The Board of Adjustment consists of 5 Members appointed for 5 year terms.
Members are residents in the city appointed by the board.
