[ARCHIVED] 2017 YTD Sales Tax Receipts Up 2.0% in Branson, Up 9.5% Compared to Same Month Last Year

The City of Branson's June 2017 sales tax receipts are up 9.5% as compared to June 2016 receipts, and 2017 YTD receipts are up 2.0% mostly representing May business activity.

City tourism tax receipts, also for May business activity, were down 5.9% compared to the same month last year, with 2017 YTD receipts up .6% overall. All tourism classifications for May activity collectively were down while 2017 YTD amusements are up 15.1% and restaurants reporting up slightly at 1.3%. All other classifications are down.
