RecPlex Walking Path

The Branson RecPlex is a popular destination for walkers. A one-mile asphalt walking path loops around the entire complex. Whether you walk at a leisurely pace with your dog or power walk for exercise, you will have lots to see at the complex, including the aquatic center, a ball field complex, soccer fields, park pavilions, and a playground. Restroom facilities are also available. Click on the Walking Path Map for more information.

Inclusive Playground

The Branson Parks Department is excited to announce the opening of our newest playground! This fully inclusive playground is located at the east end of the ball field complex near Pavilion D, and is the first inclusive playground in the area. Many of the elements in the playground were chosen specifically to provide opportunities for children with different disabilities. This inclusive playground will have features that address physical, sensory, cognitive, communicative, and social-emotional disabilities. Through this playground, we hope to continue to create awareness of the importance of inclusive play and also to create an environment where all children can interact and build friendships.

We would like to thank Pat Joyce and Summer Winds Resort, Cox Health Systems, and Generation Rescue for the contribution and support for this great community project.

The grand opening for this playground was in Spring 2018.
