The Branson Community Center offers a variety of ongoing, weekly and monthly activities.  Click on the Activities Calendar to see the current month’s schedule.  See below a brief description of some of our more popular activities.  

Entertainment, Speakers, and Games

Stay after lunch to participate in a variety of events to help improve your life, health and happiness. The Senior Center plans special quest speakers once a month on the topics of Health and Nutrition. They also periodically bring in local entertainers to perform during lunch for your entertainment.

Fitness Classes

A variety of fitness classes are available, including Chair Exercises, Yoga and Zumba.  Due to the popularity of Zumba, multiple classes are available.  The Zumba Gold Class is great for older adults that are looking for all the moves you love at a lower intensity.   For a complete schedule of Fitness Classes for Seniors, click here.

Girls Night Out

Join our fun Girls Night Out project nights!  Examples of projects include family birthday signs, clay pot painting, magnetic story boards, wreaths, wood cut ornaments and more.  Click here to sign up online.  Please call Traci at (417)337-8510 with any questions.

Arts, Crafts, and Fun Activities

The Branson Community Center offers a wide variety of classes, groups and activities for all ages, including China and Oil painting for the fine artists and Quilting for those who really like to get "hands on" with their projects.  Check out the activities calendar for exact dates and times.  

Crochet Club

The Crochet Club meets Mondays at 10:30 am. The class is free to attend but you are required to bring your own supplies.  Check out the Crochet Club flyer for more details.

Weight Watchers 

Weight Watchers is a professional weight loss program that is not a diet; it is a program that teaches you to eat right and live healthy.  For more information, call Weight Watchers at 1-800-651-6000.

Meeting times: Tuesday at 9:00am and Wednesday at 5:30pm 



The Tri-Lakes Quilters offer hand quilting for the public.  Drop by the Community Center to bring in your quilt tops for an estimate (a nominal fee is charged).  The quilting group will will hand stitch them and into a family treasure.   Quilters "Have Needle Will Stitch" group meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 12:30pm. 

Ballroom Dance 

Drop-in to our monthly Ballroom Dance on the fourth Saturday of the month from 7:00-10:00pm at the Branson Community Center.

Foot Clinic

Southwest Missouri Office of Aging offers a FREE foot clinic. Dates vary and you will need to call 417-335-4801 to make an appointment.

Beginner Mountain Dulcimer Lessons

The Appalachian dulcimer or mountain dulcimer is a fretted string instrument of the zither family, typically with three or four strings. Its origins are in the Appalachian region of the United States. The body extends the  length of the fingerboard, and its fretting is generally diatonic. If you would like to learn how to play this instrument or have questions, please call Tom or Bev Arnold at 417-239-0223 for more details.
