BRANSON, Mo., 9/28/2023 – The Branson Police Department is preparing for its annual National Night Out, an event designed to promote police-community partnerships, with the objective of making our neighborhoods safer. National Night Out 2023 is Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. Branson Police officers encourage residents to attend a gathering to help promote community safety.
“National Night Out is an excellent opportunity for neighbors to rekindle relationships, discover new ones, and work toward strengthening our communities and neighborhoods,” said Branson Police Chief Eric Schmitt. “Our annual National Night Out is important in involving the citizens of Branson, helping us to become a stronger community together, ultimately leading to safer neighborhoods. Experience has taught us that neighbors who know and care about each other are more likely to report suspicious behavior when they see it,” said Chief Schmitt.
Members of the Branson Police Department and the Branson Fire Department will visit each neighborhood gathering to meet with residents and to explain how they can utilize City resources. There are several neighborhood events scheduled throughout Branson that include the following neighborhoods:
- Eiserman Street
- Redwine Circle
- Galewood Street
- Shady Drive
- Rock Ridge Villas
- Park Place Apartments
- Westwood Ave & Bramble Ln
- Caudill Way
- Country Bluff Estates
- Lucia Ridge Neighborhood
- Pointe Royale
- Branson Park Apartments
National Night Out is a national event that is usually held on the first Tuesday of August, however, some communities, including Branson, choose to participate in October due to heat-related concerns.
