Branson Mayor, Larry Milton, is applauding Herschend Enterprises’ GROW U. program that will cover 100% of tuition, fees and books for its 11,000 employees, including all seasonal, part-time and full-time employees across its 25 US attractions including Silver Dollar City, Showboat Branson Belle, White Water and the Silver Dollar City Campground, who choose to pursue further education.

The nation’s largest privately-owned themed attractions corporation made the announcement earlier this week. The new program aims to make it exponentially easier for employees at all levels to pursue their personal and professional dreams through education.

“I would like to congratulate and commend Herschend Enterprises for this tremendous undertaking. This exciting program is a fantastic example of what can happen when a company steps up and takes care of their workers,” said Branson Mayor, Larry Milton. “The Herschend family has been a foundational part of our city from its humble beginnings and it is hard to imagine what Branson would look like without their support. Now, because of this program, they will continue to positively impact thousands of lives across the Country far into the future! Thank you, Herschend Enterprises, for all you have done and continue to do for our community and your employees,” said Mayor Milton.

Herschend's GROW U. will officially launch on February 24, 2022, for all seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees across its 25 US attractions.
