The Branson Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce a unique community garage sale, specifically designed as a learning opportunity for kids that will take place on Saturday, March 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Branson Community Center, located at 201 Compton Drive.

The Kid’s Garage Sale is designed to teach children between the ages of five and 15 skills in counting back money, marketing, selling and pricing items, and communicating with customers. Parents and guardians are allowed to help but won’t be able to do all of the work. Items for sale must be children’s items such as toys and clothes and could also be items handmade by kids.

Booth spaces are available for a $10 fee and vendors are given a table and two chairs to use during the sale. Vendor set-up will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the garage sale. Anyone is welcome to attend and be a customer at the sale.

Registration is available online or in-person at the Branson RecPlex, located at 1501 Branson Hills Pkwy, Branson, Missouri.
