MAPP to hold Spring Conference and Reverse Vendor Fair in Branson

BransonLogo_City Of

The City of Branson is pleased to announce the Missouri Association of Public Purchasing (MAPP) will be hosting its biyearly Reverse Vendor Fair event in Branson, MO at Chateau on the Lake on April 18, 2019. MAPP is a Chapter of the Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP) and was established in 1972. MAPP represents procurement and materials management professionals working in Missouri’s public sector.

WHAT IS A REVERSE VENDOR FAIR (RVF)? The public sector agencies (MAPP Members) are the exhibitors and vendors are the attendees. Registered vendors move from table to table during the event to talk to the agencies and provide them with information on their goods and services.

This event will take place on Thursday afternoon April 18, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. This event gives companies and businesses exposure to cities, counties, public schools and universities, State of Missouri agencies, public utilities, plus many more all in one spot!

This is an exciting opportunity for high exposure to public entities from all over the State of Missouri. During the 2017 RVF there were more than 50 public agencies and nearly 100 MAPP members present! Visit www.mappi.org to register.

Questions? Contact Todd Cox, Program Chair at 417-864-1708 or tcox@springfieldmo.gov or Kara Daniel, President at 417-523-0228 or kmdaniel@spsmail.org.

The deadline for event registration and sponsorship is April 10, 2019.
