The Branson Police Department, along with other area law enforcement agencies will take to the sky in support of the Special Olympics on the roof of Dunkin’ Donuts this Friday, May 18, from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Dunkin’ Donuts location on Hwy 76 located at 1305 West Missouri 76.

This is the second year the Branson Police Department will take to the rooftop to participate in “Cop on Top,” also known as “Cop on a Rooftop,” to raise awareness and money for Special Olympics Missouri. Last year, the Branson Police Department helped raise more than $600,000 in the Midwest/West regions.

Everyone who visits Branson’s Cop on a Rooftop location and makes a donation will receive a free donut coupon. Local law enforcement officers invite you to stop by, have a cup of coffee and chat with the officers.

Other agencies participating this year are:

  • Taney County Sheriff’s Office
  • Merriam Woods Police Department
  • Missouri Department of Correction’s Probation and Parole
